Mission

Unleash the transformative advantages of quantum dots, enhanced by flame synthesis technology, in the fight for the planet and life on it. These innovations include the use of metal oxide nanoparticles like Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide, which contribute significantly to environmental solutions.

Expertise

Dr. Keroles Riad, founder and CEO, developed a recipe and process utilizing flame synthesis technology to create silica-embedded metal oxide nanoparticles, specifically quantum dots made from Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide. Dr. Riad is a Concordia valedictorian and has received numerous scholarships and awards for his research and community contributions, including the Banting postdoctoral fellowship, Canada's most prestigious scholarship, the MITACS accelerate entrepreneur fellowship, and Québec’s lieutenant governor youth medal.

Products

Our flame synthesis technology enables the production of silica-embedded metal oxide quantum dots that are orders of magnitude cheaper than market equivalents and can be scaled effectively. Additionally, these metal oxide nanoparticles feature a mixed phase morphology instead of a core-shell structure, ensuring stability while delivering excellent catalytic performance.

Technology

We produce metal oxide nanoparticles, such as Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide, using advanced flame synthesis technology. To learn more about this process and its applications, you can read an insightful article by our founder, Dr. Keroles Riad, at The Conversation Canada.

R&D Partnerships

Flame synthesis technology can be utilized to produce any combination of metal oxide nanoparticles, achieving precise compositions. This method also facilitates doping with elements such as Pt, Au, and Ag, along with creating specific metal oxides like Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide.

Feel free to contact us if you are interested in developing custom catalysts or nanoparticles, including those utilizing flame synthesis technology. We specialize in metal oxide nanoparticles such as Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide, as well as advanced materials like quantum dots. For specific applications of interest, we could consider R&D partnerships where we provide significant discounts, with the expectation of shared IP.

The use of flame synthesis technology allows for a longer shelf life of products. These metal oxide nanoparticles, such as Tin Oxide and Zinc Oxide, do not require special storage conditions. They remain stable even when used at elevated temperatures while still maintaining their catalytic activity, making them ideal for applications involving quantum dots.
